Taking time to understand others.
Most of the time we find ourselves in a difficult situation we just see our side of the story! We don't think of what the other person involved feels like. According to the bible we should love others just as we love ourselves. The truth is we have expectations of how we want to be treated and how others should address to us. This causes us to feel unaccepted maybe or left out, this is not how we should feel though. We as Christians or people that follow Jesus should feel accepted by Him, loved by Him, strengthened by Him. There is no one person in the world that can understand you better then He can! Think about it...He knows your deepest thoughts, feelings and frustrations. Therefore even if you are in a position where you are right and the other is wrong it's the way we approach this problem that will get us the win in the long run. I know it's not easy to give up where you know you are right but over time this will become easier and easier. It's us that choose to be happy..i know , i know .. it might seem crazy but as we choose to let go of the things that upset us and see the world in a different perspective we can focus our time on getting to understand the other persons needs. We don't live on this earth to make just ourselves happy but to make the one's around us smile. I have learned over the past few weeks that letting go of unnecessary expectations brought me closer to my loved ones and the people around me. Being thankful for the people around us and appreciating them for who they are. Not for the sin or the things they wronged you with but for the soul that is inside each and every one of us. Understanding someone in their darkest times and lifting them with verses from the bible can really change their lives. Never lose hope in the people around you because God has a perfect timing. See the bigger picture.
